Docs have been taking care of marines blisters to bullet wounds the Corpsman has been with Marines since the Continental Navy was established. A total of 684 personal awards were awarded to hospital corpsmen, including 23 Medals of Honor, 55 Navy Crosses, and 237 Silver Stars.
